Roe Valley Integrated Primary School celebrates Integrated Education Week
27/03/2009

Roe Valley Integrated Primary School staged a variety of fun activities earlier this month to celebrate Integrated Education Week.

Pupils enjoyed tasting world foods, making friends with children from other schools and working on art projects, among other things, during the seven day NICIE event.

The school, in Limavady, also took time to celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 6th March, getting both students and staff to take a break from the usual lessons and dress-up in fantasy costumes.

This year, the theme of Integrated Education Week, adopted by schools across Northern Ireland, was “It’s a Small World”.

Roe Valley Primary One pupils enjoy a taste of some exotic foods.

Children from Primary Two enjoy the colourful menu.

More students tuck into some culinary delights.

Pupils from Primary Three show off their artistic flair.

Primary Two children enjoy a special visit to Oakgrove Integrated Primary School as part of their Integrated Education Week celebrations.

Some of the older Roe Valley students get to know visiting pupils from St Finlough’s Primary while playing on a giant-sized Snakes and Ladders board.

Lots of Primary One students dressed in their best fantasy-wear for World Book Day.
