Braidside Integrated Primary School plans anniversary celebrations
29/05/2009
Braidside Integrated Primary School in Ballymena will mark twenty years of nurturing and developing young minds in September 2009.
The school was founded in 1989 and once had less than 50 students attending, making up three classes. However, since then the school has educated literally thousands of children and now has an enrolment of 375.
To celebrate hitting the twenty year milestone, Braidside will hold a gala dinner on Friday 9th October at 7.30pm in the Leighinmohr House Hotel, Ballymena. Guests will enjoy a drinks reception, four course meal and dancing into the small hours.
The event is open to any former friends, parents, staff and Governors of the school, as well as to former pupils who are now adults.
Tickets are going on sale at £25 per person. Further details are available from the school office on 25647899. Accommodation is also available if needed and anyone requiring this should contact the Leighinmohr House Hotel directly.
Braidside will plan other events to mark the occasion and is interested in hearing from past pupils who have any ideas about other ways to mark this important anniversary.
