The Association of Principal Teachers in Integrated Schools – APTIS – launched their ‘Everybody Outstanding’ initiative at the Spring conference earlier this year. They are very interested in facilitating the sharing and development of good practice between integrated schools, with the aim being ‘everybody outstanding’. In other words, we want every integrated school to be the best it can be, with the best reputation possible, and generating the highest demand for integrated education that can be achieved. We can help each other to do this.
The IEF have given some initial funding toward this, in order to get the project up and running, and we thank them for this practical support. Part of the project is to form 5 clusters of good practice who will come together to share and develop the examples of the good practice they have identified – these will then be disseminated to all integrated schools.
